Event description

Description

At the heart of every conservationist and every yogi is one common denominator; compassion. We care deeply for this planet and the lives of the creatures that we share our space with. This workshop is an opportunity for conservationists to explore the world of yoga, and for yogis to learn more about the struggles our planet faces each day at the hand of humanity. It’s an opportunity for us all to stand together and make a difference.

Margot Raggett, founder of Remembering Wildlife, will lead a talk on issues that elephants and rhino’s face in the wild and the great work they are doing in the fight against poaching. I will lead a one hour vinyasa yoga class, which is accessible to all levels. Afterwards there will be an informal Q&A with a cup of tea and an opportunity to purchase the Remembering Rhinos and Remembering Elephants books – the first of The Remembering Wildlife series.

All proceeds go to Remembering Wildlife and the projects they support through the Born Free Foundation.
