Instructor Sue:

Sue’s passion for yoga began when she set out to heal a running injury. That decision led to a lifelong love of yoga and realizing the important connections to the advantages of yoga for the inner soul and the physical benefits it offers. Over the 20+ years of yoga practice and attending many yoga workshops, Sue has learned that yoga offers so much more than just strength and flexibility; it offers overall well-being in body, mind and soul.

Sue’s professional career began in the financial industry then shifted into the non-profit sector. After being an event planner for a national nonprofit Sue became a volunteer for a Parkinson’s Program which opened her up to new opportunities and ways to help others. In 2020, Sue completed her 200HR yoga teacher training with Core Power Yoga and will be taking

Yoga for Parkinson’s training this fall, as well as additional trainings that will allow her to continue growing as a yoga instructor.

Sue’s asana yoga class will keep you moving through breath and movement. Breath allows you to grow and focus on building and engaging your core strength to support more advanced postures. The vinyasa practice will strengthen, balance, detoxify and exhilarate the body and mind. Remember, yoga is about constant growth, which is what makes yoga a practice, rather than a task or a goal to be completed. Sue looks forward to sharing her knowledge and passion with others.

In the event of severely inclement weather, at the judgement of the teacher, this outdoor yoga class may be cancelled and transfers to alternate dates will be assigned. Beyond this circumstance - there are no refunds or transfers once tickets have been purchased
