About this event
Group yoga practice is held every Tuesday from 6:15 to 7:30 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm.
Join yoga teacher Darren Main for this weekly practice surrounded by the awe-inspiring architecture of Grace Cathedral. Set to live music from world-renowned musicians, this weekly practice of yoga and meditation looks and feels like the amazing diversity of San Francisco itself.
This is a donation-based practice. We suggest a $15 donation to support the musicians, teacher and the social justice work of Grace Cathedral. If you can share a little more, it will help us bring yoga and meditation to someone with less.
Do let us know if you require any assistance or accommodations by writing to yoga@gracecathedral.org.
COVID-19 Safety
Proof of full vaccination is required. Masks are required at all times. Social distancing will be observed. Please do not attend if you are not feeling well, have COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in close contact with anyone who is COVID-19+.
What to Bring
Please bring a yoga mat and any other yoga props you wish to use. We are unable to lend yoga mats at this time. Only water is permitted in the cathedral. Dress in warm, comfortable exercise clothes as the cathedral can be quite cool. If you have any serious injuries or medical concerns, please discuss practicing yoga with your doctor.

We welcome participants of all ages and abilities. Watch this great story about one of our most dedicated yogis, Charles, who doesn’t let Multiple Sclerosis hold him back from being an active participant.
