Experience a night filled with sound baths and the melodic and soothing rhythmic beats of African drumming while moving through vinyasa flow

About this Event

Come experience a night filled with the sweet sounds of sound baths and the melodic and soothing rhythmic beats of African drumming while moving through vinyasa flow poses. Enjoy the evening saying farewell to sweet summer and hello to the magnificent colors of fall moving, bonding, smiling and welcoming the next phases of 2019.

The teaching shared this evening will draw from the vinyasa and hatha styles blended with ancient sounds enticing natural movement and flow. Classes are suitable for all experience levels and include postures and breathing techniques that promote balance, strength, and flexibility of body and mind.

Claire Tart:

A 500hr RYT whose been teaching for over 8 years. Her groove and style is vinyasa flow for all levels to have fun and discover their own experience through meditation, music, laughter, and yoga. Her down-to-earth practice converts even the most beginner practitioner to embrace yoga in their own way and still challenge the most senior practitioner to grow deeper in the practice.

Diagnosed with MS in 2009, and enduring partial paralysis during that time of sickness, she used yoga, meditation and bootcamps to rebuild her body mentally and physically. Currently MS has been dormant in her life for the last 8 years in counting. She credits her lifestyle of choosing to being open to not settling with outside appearances but finding strength from within.

Sound bath and African drumming performed by Victoria Carter-Sound Solutions, Djembe, Congas and Percussion musician.
