Basketball legend and NBA all-time leading scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will greet you at the 2018 Yoga & Jazz 5K at Depot Park. You don't want to miss this historical event for the entire family. At 7:00 a.m., Mr. Abdul-Jabbar will greet yogis, runners and walkers during the Sunrise Yoga class as the sound of LIVE JAZZ fills Depot Park. At 8:00 a.m., Mr. Abdul-Jabbar will give the hundreds of 5K participants a "pep talk" that will put them on their mark, get ready, set...GO! Create Teams and Register Early!

The excitement is building in anticipation of the

Inaugural Yoga & Jazz 5K Run/Walk and Gala with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. What a great Father's Day gift!

Join At The WELLness Network and its partners as will help encourage mindfulness, health and wellness through music, yoga and the rhythm of breath. This fundraiser and scholarship event will support the Yoga Is 4 Me 2 Project. This projects provides yoga classes for children and families in our deserving communities at the Gainesville Public Housing, The Boys and Girls Club, YouthBuild and through a partnership with the Alachua County Public Library. Your support will also provide funding for the Joe Cirulli Scholarship, awarded to an area college student in the UF College of Public Health and Health Professions.

Come early and stay late to enjoy a morning of music and child friendly actives in the picturesque Depot Park. Vendors and food trucks will help to create a festive morning on June 9th.
