Jackie Barrett, RYT 200, made yoga a priority in her life in 2011. She is a 1996 graduate of Indiana University – Bloomington with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught in Carmel-Clay Schools for four years prior to becoming a full-time stay at home mom in 2000.
Jackie is a mother of three and an active community volunteer. She received her yoga certification from CITYOGA in 2019. Having a daily meditation practice along with the asanas has greatly enhanced Jackie’s life and has allowed her to find comfort by taking the calm and stillness from the mat into her everyday life.
Jackie lives by the words: “Be here now and just be kind.”
