Yoga Foundations 4 Week Series

For Body and Breath Centered Awareness

In addition to 4 - 75 minute classes, this series includes weekly follow up emails with simple yoga sequences to practice at home. These classes are Forrest Yoga inspired and taught within a trauma sensitive format.

This course is designed for people who:

  • Are relatively new to yoga

  • Want to begin yoga again with a mindful, methodical approach

  • Want to build knowledge of alignment, breath and body centered awareness.

Taking this course will allow students to:

  • Experience appropriate alignment and breathing while in the yoga poses

  • Modify a pose to meet their specific needs

  • Feel the joy and balance that consistent yoga creates in day to day living

After taking this course students can experience the following benefits:

  • Relief of neck and shoulder discomfort and tension

  • An increased awareness of their body and breathing

  • An increased ability to respond to their needs with mindfulness

  • Decreased stress and increased steadiness with moods
