Description

Yoga has been proven to reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety. In this workshop you will learn the effects of stress and anxiety onthe nervous system and how to counteract that through the useof yoga.

You will learn physical practice, breathwork, and meditation techniques that will help you calm the nervous system to help find a place of relaxation. Whether you suffer from an anxiety disorder or have high levels of stress from work, school, or life, this workshop will benefit you.

Workshop will include a physical practice and meditation so wear comfortable clothes and bring layers.

A journal and pen is also encouraged.

No prior yoga experience needed


Danielle Bailey is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Yoga Teacher who has worked in the field of trauma and anxiety disorders for the past 8 years. She has a psychotherapy practice in Brookline, and has taught trauma-informed yoga around Boston for the past two years. A seasoned yoga practitioner with over 400 hours of training, Danielle believes in the power of transformation through the use of yoga.
