Join us for an embodied exploration of movement and reflection that helps you reconnect to yourself in the present moment. Because stressful and traumatic experiences live in the physical body, you can empower yourself to feel greater agency over your experience by using simple practices to re-wire the mind and body. In this class, we practice tuning into what comes up as we move through poses, breath, mindfulness, and meditation practices designed to enhance one’s inner resilience. Students are encouraged to change or sit out of practices that are not right for you, to cultivate choice-making in the mind and trust in the body. For the duration of class, the teacher will stay on their mat and there will be no physical adjustments. Though the class is taught in a “trauma-informed” style, it is FREE and open to any and all who want to attend! There is no need to sign up ahead of class* – we welcome you to show up as you are.
