Yoga for Pain Training Sydney
Allied health, GPs, yoga teachers and other health practitioners interested in the evidence-base behind yoga for persistent pain can apply to attend Yoga for Pain Foundations Training.
Learn knowledge and skills to help the 1 in 5 people with persistent pain to people with pain use yoga to get back into physical activity, reduce their social isolation and better manage stress. Includes the science of how pain works, research into yoga and pain, and principles for referring or introducing yoga safely and effectively to the growing numbers of people with longstanding pain.
Max 10 in each group.
Course facilitator is Rachael West, who holds a degree in Yogic Education from the University of Lille, France.
