Workshop Session Details

First Session: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Connecting to your Core - The sacred weaving: Most yoga classes focus on āsana, the yoga of the physical body. In this series, āsana is used, but as a tool to access the deeper, more subtle work of connecting breath, mind and higher aspect of ourselves. This practice focuses to reset, let go, renew, prepare and connect to our inner being for transformation.

Second Session: 12:30 PM – 02:30 PM
Change your breath, change your life - The Secrets of Prāṇāyāma: Our state of breath is the true reflection of the state of our being. You will be guided through a variety of conscious yogic breathing techniques to heal & rekindle your thoughts by shifting the energy and revitalizing your nervous system.

Third Session: 03:00 PM – 5:00 PM
The transformation from Within - The Art of Meditation: As the body benefits from movement, so the mind benefits from stillness. A small shift in thinking can change the energy, which may lead to a massive transformation in life. In this session, you will be guided through different approaches to meditation practices to bring the mind into stillness and begin the inner transformation.

Vishwa is an avid yoga practitioner and certified yoga teacher in Marietta, GA. Born and raised in India, he began his quest for spiritual understanding at an early age with an intrigue for the writings on yoga philosophy by Swami Vivekananda. Vishwa also studied yoga asana as a teenager and developed a daily physical practice. Eager to attain the state of Samadhi which he'd read about, he sought a teacher who would formally initiate him into a meditation practice in 2002. Vishwa's personal practice broadened and deepened to include a tantric approach to yoga - Āsana, Prāṇāyāma, Bandha, Mudrā, Vāyu, Chakra, Kriyā, Yoga Nidrā, Meditation, Tantra, Mantra, Yantra,  and Āyurveda. He began sharing the wisdom and experience he'd gained. He has taught classes/workshops in India, Europe, United States and Latin America.

Vishwa has completed 1000-hour yoga teacher training programs and a registered yoga teacher (RYT 2- 500) with Yoga Alliance as well as over 2,000 hours of study with various teachers in the Sivananda, Krishnamacharya, and the Himalayan Master's lineage. He is currently enrolled in a master training program with Yogarupa Rod Stryker, founder of Parayoga. When Vishwa is not teaching, he enjoys Latin dancing, traveling, and outdoor activities.
