Walking using yoga techniques before and during to release tension, become more aware of our bodies and walk in a healthy, mindful and enjoyable way.
The workshop will start with an introduction and a gentle yoga session, where we will get to know our bodies, and introduce movements and techniques to ground our feet and improve balance and coordination.
After this we will take a walk through the beautiful St George´s Park - stopping occasionally to check in with ourselves, and use some of the movements we have practiced to bring awareness to our feet and our walking. Slip-on shoes recommended so we can go barefoot on the grass!
This workshop is for anyone who can stand and would like to find out more about their bodies and how to move in a healthy and positive way. If you are very confident walking, or are a bit unsteady on your feet - this workshop will help you to connect with your body and bring more awareness to your everyday movements like walking.
