London Velo is hosting a series of Yoga for Cyclists every Wednesday evening.
The class, taught by Lilly Richardson, will target muscle and joint mobility specifically for cyclists. Tight hamstrings, thoracic, ankle and shoulder immobility and a whole host of other issues created by hours in the saddle (or at a desk) will be addressed allowing:
- Freer range of motion
- Less cramping and stiffness
- Core, arm and back strengthening
- Injury rehabilitaion methods for common biking injuries such as repetitive strain
The class is designed for cyclists, whether you have just taken it up, or you are at pro racing level - Expect increased flexibility, mobility, range of motion and performance on the bike.
