Do you have sporadic back pain or soreness from gardening?
If so, you’re not alone. Most of us will experience one or more incidents of back pain. Many back injuries are preventable and the pain can be alleviated using simple yoga techniques.
Appropriate for anyone who would like to build back strength, increase flexibility, improve posture, or reduce chronic pain. In it, you will explore gentle movement and breath work.
This class is designed to assist those who have had issues with acute or moderate back pain, as well as those who would like to learn how to use yoga to maintain a healthy back. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. We will be outside in the garden with the use of chairs.
Taught by Patricia Becker who has a background in Yoga Therapy based on Principles of Alignment, Yoga Alliance RYT® certified, with many years of Anusara training and experience.
