We're taking it back to the beginning. This year's Yoga Feast will be reminiscent of our very first event. Small and intimate. There's a class for everyBODY! Sign up for one class or stay for all 4! Held in a poinsettia and Christmas tree-filled greenhouse, at Chuck Hafner's Farmer's Market, your senses will be enticed! You'll leave the greenhouse feeling restored, renewed and ready for the holidays!
9:30 am-10:30 am: The O Yoga Studio: Community Flow, kick off this holiday season on your mat alongside a tribe of old friends and new friends, with a practice designed to nourish your core so you can nourish others. This conscious vinyasa flow offers space to ground to your own roots while opening up to the collective energy of your community. Let your practice of breath, movement and intention connect you deeper to each moment so you can experience it fully. Come together and share the magic of the season. Class will be led by Courtney Chase, owner of O Yoga and Sky Yoga & Wellness, and is open to all people, all levels, and all communities. http://theoyogastudio.com
11 am-12 pm: Syracuse Yoga: Fundamental Vinyasa is alignment based Yoga focused on cultivating a dynamic balance of strength and flexibility. Class includes flowing movements, prolonged holding of postures to increase strength and/or flexibility, breathing techniques and breath awareness, meditation practices, and relaxation. 12:30 pm- 1:30 pm: Dharma Yoga:This is an all levels class that will consist of a vinyasa flow warm up including classical sun salutations and the heart opening flow of Shiva Namaskar vinyasa and will conclude with the seven main poses for radiant health. These seven poses are known as the seed poses or building blocks required for deepening your practice. In savasana, you can expect a mini sound journey of crystal alchemy singing bowls, gongs and more - one of our signature offerings at Dharma Yoga Syracuse helping to deepen relaxation. 2 pm- 3pm: Vyana Yoga: A slow and powerful Yin inspired flow with deep core stability working three dimensionally with breath and awareness.
