•Reduce tension in shoulders and chest

•Deepen your yoga practice

•Increasing mobility and awareness of the spine

•Enhance general sense of well being

“A well designed and tested system of physical exercises and yoga postures to warm up and prepare the spine for cultivating spine energy using back bends in a safe and easy way”.

The first half of the session warm up the whole body especially all the joints which involves practicing a combination of physical exercises, Sun salutations and some yoga postures.

The second half of the class focus only on the spine and begins with very simple back bends on the floor followed by few back bend yoga postures. With every passing set of backbends and yoga postures, the spine gets more and more warmed up to enter a deeper level of flexibility.

Streamed LIVE via Zoom you will be taken through a carefully thought out routine to safely open the chest and extend into the spine, enhancing your back bend practice.

Physiologically backbends stretch the hip flexors, lengthen the spine, open the shoulders and chest and strengthen the entire posterior line of the body.

Psychologically opening the heart can increase sense of well being and lift mood.
