Take care of your mind and body by joining Avance Primary Care and Results Physiotherapy for an evening of relaxing yoga.

Explore how better breathing can affect your body and your mind! Breathing techniques are powerful tools that can quickly and significantly affect your state of mind, your mood, and your physical well-being. And you can use them anywhere, anytime!

In this class we’ll experiment with different breathing techniques; coordinate breathing, movement, and mindfulness; and develop an understanding of what “healthy breathing” actually means. No yoga experience is necessary to enjoy this class—you’ll leave refreshed and revived, with new and practical skills that you can take with you wherever you go and whatever you’re going through.

Please remember to arrive 15 minutes early and to bring your own yoga mat! Refrain from eating 2 hours before class.

Blue Lotus Instructor:

Kathleen Yount, E-RYT 500, helps her clients (re)connect to their bodies and their sense of inner well-being. She specializes in simple, accessible movement and relaxation techniques and loves teaching beginning practitioners and people working with chronic pain, injuries, anxiety, depression, trauma, recovery, or an overactive lifestyle. Her training emphasizes anatomy and functional movement; in working with clients she often combines aspects of flow yoga, gentle yoga, restorative yoga, meditation, breath work, and deep relaxation. Her goal in every class or private session is to help her students explore and reconnect to the pleasures of being embodied and alive.
