Description

Optimal wellness emcompasses total mind, body, and soul health. In this workshop, we will have a mixed level yoga class, followed by an information session about making healthy food choices that fit into a busy lifestyle.

A note from Stephanie:
"Health and nutrition became vitally important to me 6 years ago when, at my highest weight of 263 pounds, I underwent gastric bypass. I had been heavy all through adolescence and early adolescence, and would lose the same 100 pounds over and over again. By my mid 30s I was pre-diabetic and pre-hypertensive. After the surgery I needed to really be regimented about my diet or I would run the risk of gaining it all back. 6 years later I had only gained back about 12 pounds, but I had started to get lazy and was eating and drinking things I shouldn't, like fried foods and diet soda. I was experiencing migraines, bloat, and stomach issues. I was introduced to the Thirty Days to Healthy Living program in May, and started in June. I haven't looked back. The nutrition plan is easy to follow, yet structured, and allowed me to continue to eat real food. It has helped me to be energized, healthy, and nearly migraine free and I've also lost 10 pounds. I'm now passionate about helping others regain their health and learn about good nutrition."
