Learn the basics - get the benefits! This Yoga 101 workshop is for students new to yoga and also for students who have been practicing for a while. The workshop will give new students an opportunity to explore the basic elements of the yoga poses, and regular students, a chance to re-establish good alignment techniques. The primary asanas (postures) will be taught in a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment.
Sloan will give lots of hands on adjustments so you know how to do — and feel the pose — correctly. This workshop will include: – Introduction to primary yoga asanas (postures) – Instruction on how to modify poses – How to safely move through the Vinyasa flow – Introduction to breathing
