Description

Grant training to be Nov. 14 in Yemassee

People who live in Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties are invited to participate in a free one-day training session on Nov. 14, 2017, in Yemassee, S.C., by noted trainer Patrick Patterson. His class will teach participants how to write compelling grant applications for nonprofit organizations, faith-based institutions, neighborhood organizations or local governments.

The training is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. While there is no fee to attend, space is limited to 20 people. Lunch will be provided. But if you reserve a spot and don't attend, you will be billed $25 for lunch.

The Nov. 14 session may be most convenient for people in Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties. There’s also a duplicate training scheduled on Nov. 15 in Denmark, which may be more convenient for people who live in Allendale, Bamberg and Barnwell counties.
