Event description

Description

Enjoy color in your garden year 'round! Gardens are more than spring flowers - plan ahead, and learn how to select and group native plants based on varying bloom times so your garden is never without color. You’ll enjoy it and so will the bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds!
See how to choose different plant forms and include beautiful bark, berry, and seed-producing species for maximum interest all year long.
This event is sponsored by the Town of Los Gatos, West Valley Clean Water Authority, and LG-Saratoga Adult Recreation Program

After class, attend the Native Plants Society WILDFLOWER SHOW at West Valley Community College, to purchase some of the plants you've just learned about.
The family–friendly Wildflower Show features hundreds of native wildflowers and plants on display and a variety of tours. A selection of native plants and native plant art, t-shirts, books and other related goods will be available for purchase. The event and parking are all free to the public. A full schedule and more information is available at: www.cnps-scv.org/index.php/events/wildflower-shows
