Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

For our fifth birthday, we're joining forces with the Multicultural Arts Center in E. Cambridge as its first ever company in residence.

During our residency, we'll develop and produce Dark Room, a world premiere written by George Brant, inspired by the photographs of Francesca Woodman, featuring an unprecedented cast of 20 - 30 women, directed by Olivia D'Ambrosio, with movement by Doppelgänger Dance Collective and dramaturgy by Alexander Platt. We'll also revisit last year's Marvelous Party with a reconceived Halloween edition, and introduce a fun and sexy Shakespeare event for Valentine's Day.

Whether you're meeting the Bridge Rep team for the first time, or have already been part of our journey, please join our Year 5 Residency Launch Party + Fundraiser to celebrate this milestone and learn more about the road ahead.

This event is free and open to the public, and will include:

  • catered bites, generously donated by Cuisine Chez Vous

  • a cash bar with beer and wine

  • a performance snippet sneak peek from Dark Room

  • a major surprise announcement

  • fun and meaningful ways to give

Thanks, and see you soon!

Yours,
The Bridge Rep Playmakers
