This teaching session by Code Blue OSCE Crew, offers an online platform for medical students and professionals to enhance their clinical OSCE skills, with specialized focus on Data Interpretation. Running every other week via teams, each session includes an hour of doctor-led teaching alongside an hour of practice in breakout rooms. Endorsed by Geeky Medics, this peer-led initiative encourages all students in their clinical years to join in and gain valuable hands-on experience.
Learning Objectives:
- Develop a structured approach to interpreting clinical data, including blood results, imaging, and clinical observations, in acutely unwell patients across age groups.
- Apply clinical reasoning to generate appropriate differential diagnoses and identify red flags based on limited or evolving information.
- Formulate initial investigation and management plans based on interpretation of laboratory and bedside findings in medical and surgical contexts.
