Join us to walk for one or more of the five dates of our ‘tributary’ route that connects with the Young Christian Climate Network’s relay to COP26. The length of walk varies a little from day to day, between 7-11 miles.

Each day will start with active prayer led by the OneLife team and end with hospitality from the endpoint venue in terms of both cake and closing prayers. In between, enjoy our lovely countryside and the company of others who have a concern for the environment.

Walkers are welcome of all ages, including family groups, individuals, and groups from communities and churches – just use your common sense in terms of ability to walk the length of the route, and wear sturdy footwear.

This is a tributary route, part of the Young Christian Climate Network relay walk. The relay began in Cornwall, the location of the June G7 summit, and is continuing onwards to Glasgow, where in November, world leaders are meeting for the critical COP26 climate talks.

The relay aims to raise public awareness and engage churches and local communities. The main route doesn’t pass through our area but we are invited to plan a tributary which joins the main route, in our case as the walkers reach Birmingham on 23rd August. After our five days, we hand over to friends and colleagues in Worcester Diocese to take our tributary onwards to Birmingham.
