The Harold From Above with MB DeKara

Look at your Harold as a whole show, with a bird's eye view. In this workshop, we'll look at methods for growing our view on the Harold to see the show as a whole piece of art and all of its moving pieces. We'll work to go beyond structure and embrace the movement of a Harold.

MaryBeth "MB" DeKara holds a Bachelors degree in Fine and Performing Arts from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and a Masters Degree in Theatre in Education from Emerson College. She's worked as a professional actor, arts administrator, and instructor since 2003 in North Carolina, New York and Massachusetts. Joining the Boston comedy world by way of the Tribe Theater's Sea Mission: Aquanauts Prime, in 2006, MB has been performing on various teams for over a decade. At ImprovBoston, she has previously held the positions of Assistant to the Managing Director and producer of the Boston Comedy Arts Festival. MB has been a cast member and instructor at ImprovBoston since 2009 on such casts as On Deck, Shays' Rebellion, The ImprovBoston Family Show, Rich Uncle, Panamax, The ImprovBoston National Touring Company, Rabbit, and The Mantle. She currently performs in Harold Night on Wednesday nights. MB teaches levels 101-501 in the ImprovBoston Comedy School.
