Thursday and Friday, November 2nd and 3rd, 2017 at Yale University West Campus.

Yale Stem Cell Center’s Retreat is one of the largest stem cell research meetings in Connecticut that will encompass all of the labs working on various aspects of stem cell biology, including basic molecular investigation of adult and embryonic stem cells, cancer stem cells, and the application of stem cells in clinical settings.

This year's retreat will feature plenary talks from 12 Yale faculty speakers, including new faculty affilated with Yale's Cancer Biology Institute. Topics include Basic Cancer Mechanisms, Cancer Genomics, Pluripotency and Germ Cells, and Cell Biology of Stem Cells and Cancer. C. David Allis, Ph.D. of Rocketeller University will deliver the Keynote Lecture. Jeremy Rich, M.D. of University of California, San Diego will deliver the Yale Cancer Center/Yale Stem Cell Center Joint Distinguished Lecture. Andrew Xiao, Ph.D. and Katerina Politi, Ph.D. are co-chairs of the event.
