The Public Service/Social Justice Committee of the Yale Alumni Association of Metropolitan New York is proud to host a Spring Fling at Slate Lounge in connection with Yale's Day of Service to benefit a great local organization, the Harlem Animal Shelter. The event is an opportunity for alumni from Yale, Princeton, Bocconi and others to mingle in an intimate gathering, enjoy appetizers & a cash bar, play various team sports (pool, ping-pong, table soccer) within the lounge's private room while raising funds for the Harlem Animal Shelter (Animal Care & Control of New York City at 326 East 110th Street, http://www.nycacc.org/location.htm). Despite drastic budget cuts, the shelter remains the largest pet rescue and adoption agency in the Northeast, with adoptions at a record high---leading to significant improvements in the lives of our canine and feline friends.
All ticket holders present at the event will be automatically entered in a raffle for various prizes to be distributed toward the end of the evening (wine, gift certificates, i-pod etc. - details to follow).
(eventbrite processing fees will be added at time of online ticket purchase)
Door Charge--$50 (please bring exact change)
