Y Conference 2016 - Engaging Grace
Y 2016 - Engaging Grace
This year we're looking at how grace - God's undeserved gift to us in Jesus, both saving and adopting us - changes the way we engage the world. How does the bible call us to live, share the Gospel, care for the poor and marginalised? They're not easy questions, and there's no simple answer, but we think the three speakers we've got for the day will push us to keep asking the question of how grace changes the way we love the world.
Mark Baddeley will take us through how the Gospel & Grace push us to engage with the world. (Talk 1)
Simon Smart (Centre for Public Christianity) will take us through the Challenges & Opportunities Christians face at the moment (Talk 2) as well as how we can do this in a way that reflects the Gospel (Talk 3).
To close the conference, Melinda Tankard-Reist will talk about her work as an advocate for those who can't advocate for themselves, particularly through the organisation she's a co-founder of, collectiveshout.org.
