Pwrpas y digwyddiad hwn yw rhannu arferion o ran gweithio gyda phobl hŷn sy'n profi camdriniaeth mewn ffyrdd sy'n cefnogi eu hawliau a'u dewisiadau.

Ymhlith y siaradwyr yw Yasmin Khan, Cynghorydd Cenedlaethol ar Drais yn erbyn Menywod, Trais ar sail Rhywedd, Cam-drin Domestig a Thrais Rhywiol, ac aelodau o swyddfa’r Comisiynydd Pobl Hŷn Cymru. Bydd y bore o sesiynau lawn yn cael ei ddilyn gan bedwar gweithdy yn y prynhawn.

The purpose of this event is to share practice around working with older people who experience abuse in ways that support their rights and choices.

Among the speakers are Yasmin Khan, the National Advisor for Violence against Women, Gender-based Violence, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence, and members of the Older People’s Commissioner’s office. The plenary-based morning will be followed by four workshops in the afternoon.

The following workshops will be held in the afternoon (these will be 1 hour each, rotating and run twice)

1. Supporting and understanding choice for older people

2. Building supportive communities and how they can help

3. Breaking down barriers and understanding abuse

4. Dewis Choice/ using restorative approaches
