Samin Nosrat is a chef and writer best known for her laugh, her penchant for storytelling, and for teaching Michael Pollan how to cook. The threads of her work are woven together by a deep interest in the value of community, culture, and the environment.
Samin has spoken at SFMOMA and Pop Up Magazine. Recently, she was featured in the Netflix documentary series Cooked. Her first book, Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat: The Four Elements of Good Cooking, will be published by Simon & Schuster in 2017.
