WYPR is delighted to welcome Wes Moore to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Parkway theatre on Wednesday, November 28 at 7:30 PM. Wes Moore plans to the discuss the real life effects of poor public policies and their impact extending far beyond the borders of Baltimore city. Approximate run time is ~40 minutes with a Q&A after the lecture with WYPR’s Andy Bienstock.

In addition to hosting WYPR’s “Future City,” Moore is a decorated Army combat veteran, bestselling author, and social entrepreneur. He currently lives with his family in Baltimore City and is the CEO at the Robin Hood Foundation, New York City’s largest poverty-fighting organization.

Tickets are limited for a private reception with Wes from 6 PM – 7:15 PM with wine, beer, and heavy hors d'ouervres from Water for Chocolate catering. Those guests attending the private reception will have a special reserved seating section for the 7:30 PM main event.

Station North offers a mixture of free street parking, metered parking, and public parking lots in close proximity to the SNF Parkway. Please consult the parking map for detailed location of lots. If you choose to drive, please allow additional time for parking.
