Wyoming- and National Public Lands Day – Trail Construction and Maintenance and Public Lands Cleanup

Join the Outdoor Program; Wyoming Conservation Corps (WCC); the Service, Leadership and Community Engagement (SLCE) office; Common Outdoor Ground (COG); the Medicine Bow National Forest; and Laramie BikeNet; For National Public Land's Day and the first ever Wyoming Public Lands Day! At Happy Jack, we will be closing off and revegetating the old route of Aspen Trail after new, sustainable reroutes were constructed. At the Schoolyard, we will be constructing new trail. At Roger Canyon we will be picking up litter. Join us on this full-day event that includes transportation (we are encouraging carpooling as well), lunch, tools, work gloves (please bring them if you have your own), and representatives who will help facilitate the work-day.

Date: Saturday, Sept. 28

Location: Please meet at the Outdoor Program office at 9:00 am for doughnuts and a briefing on the day.
