Join the Seattle alumni chapter in welcoming the Class of 2015 with a special discussion on “The Future of Retail.” What are the top retailers and e-commerce companies doing to maintain brand loyalty and drive profitability as consumer desires and purchasing behavior rapidly evolves? The panel will share insights on where they see opportunities for growth related to specific categories, technology adoption and regional markets. Drinks and heavy hors d'ouevres will be served.

About Ann Frossard '99
VP, Global Tea Category at Starbucks

As Vice President of Teavana Brand Marketing, Ann has global responsibility for product, positioning and marketing strategies for the Teavana brand.

A 12 year partner, Ann joined Starbucks in 2003. Passionate about innovation and the customer experience, Ann led the development and launch of many new food categories at Starbucks in the US, including breakfast and lunch sandwiches, panini and Bistro Boxes. In addition to her product experience, Ann also spent time in Marketing Strategy & Promotions, where she led the Frappuccino repositioning strategy. Rounding out her experience, Ann spent a year in Shanghai, China helping to build Category and Marketing competencies for Starbucks China.

Prior to Starbucks, Ann spent 10 years in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry working for Nestle, Clorox, P&G and E&J Gallo Winery. Ann’s previous brand experiences include management of the 409 and Tilex equities as well as leadership of Nestle ice cream impulse products and kids line.

Ann holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and a BA in Business Administration from the Honors College at WSU. Ann resides in Seattle with her husband and daughter, where she is a member of the local Capitol Hill community and also acts as a First Connect volunteer for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.


About Zoe Mosier ‘09
Director of Strategy at Nordstrom

Zoe Mosier was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. She received her BA from Yale University and MBA from UCLA Anderson in 2009. Post MBA, she worked at Bain & Company in Los Angeles. She joined the Corporate Strategy team at Nordstrom in 2012 where she is currently the Director of Strategy supporting the Women's & Men’s Apparel division. She is married (to a USC MBA alumnus!) and excited to spend her free time with their brand new golden retriever puppy!


About Michael Lui ‘10
Senior Product Manager at Amazon

Mike Lui is a 2010 graduate of the full-time MBA program at UCLA Anderson. His professional career has spanned nonprofit, the military, consulting and a technology think. Mike is currently at Amazon in the corporate projects group which launches entirely new businesses. His professional interests include the internet of things, the maker movement, natural language and movement recognition, and anything that can help people spend more time inventing. In Seattle, he's become a Capitol Hill evangelist, where he lives with his 18 month old half Golden Retriever, Half Poodle.
