For a ninth straight Super Bowl the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team will take on a team of NFL Alumni in a (flag football) Game of Honor. This year's clash will take place at Nova High School in Davie, Fla., Wednesday, Jan 29, prior to Super Bowl LIV.

The WWAFT is composed of Iraq & Afghanistan conflict amputees who seek to demonstrate that “the loss of a limb does not define you.”

The team’s record currently stands at 20-0, and over 400 NFL Alumni have participated in these games.

The WWAFT, NFL stars, and the students and faculty at Nova High are also honored to share this evening with their fellow Broward County students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, and the MSD football team, as they honor their late coach Aaron Feis, and all of the families who lost loved ones on that fateful day.

Among the notable athletes and celebrities who have participated in previous WWAFT tributes are Simone Biles & Mary Lou Retton, Snoop Dogg, Amy Van Dyken, Roger Staubach, Rocky Bleier, Jack Youngblood, Jerry Kramer, Randy White, Gino Torretta, Mercury Morris, Dick Anderson, Ron Jaworski, and Kenny Mayne.
