About the Event

Join the Appalachian Regional Commission, the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation and the WV Community Development Hub for a day-long summit for WV POWER grantees. This event will bring together grantees, funders and project partners to spotlight projects that have had major impact on economic development in the state over the past three years, to hear from funders about priorities moving into 2019, and to convene and support grantees as they move into the next phase of their POWER projects (including welcoming new grantees who were recently awarded funds).

This event is specifically for organizations, businesses, and agencies who are working on projects that have received funding through the Appalachian Regional Commission POWER fund.

About the WV POWER Support Initiative

This initiative is a collaborative effort in support of the teams behind WV-based POWER projects.

WV POWER Support Initiative team members offer coaching and training to support POWER projects in being carried out successfully as well as initiate all-project convenings for shared learning, networking, problem solving, and collaboration.

Partners supporting this initiative include - but are not limited to - representatives from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation, WV Development Office, Appalachian Regional Commission, Economic Development Administration, Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, and WV Community Development Hub.
