Description

The Wunderkammer is an alternative to the traditional job fair. It allows young people to connect with employers in ways that go beyond a resumes. Employers invite participates into hands-on exhibits in order to “try out” aspects of the work. Career exploration is a bonus. Each presenter will have positions available and are looking to hire interested and talented youth.

The City of Maplewood and the Sundance Family Foundation in coordination with other local governments, invite you and the youth you teach and train, to a unique, engaging, and impactful event that connects young people to liveable-wage career positions in several levels of government.

The event features nine groups, with each group running 90 minutes. We will take your student group through a curated experience to make authentic and beneficial connections with employers.

The Sundance Family Foundation can cover the cost of transportation--for those registered by Dec. 15th Light snacks and gift bags will be provided to all students. You should arrange for School Lunches for your group. Lunch will not be provided by the event.

When you registrater please let us know which group number best meets your scheduling needs.

Group One: 9:45 to 11:15

Group Two: 10:15 to 11:45

Group Three: 10:45 to 12:15

Group Four: 11:15 to 12:45

Group Five: 11:45 to 1:15

Group Six: 12:15 to 1:45

Group Seven: 12:45 to 2:15

Group Eight: 1:15 to 2:45

Group Nine: 1:45 to 3:15
