WUKA Pool Party – Celebrate Being a Teen!Join us on Saturday 26th July 2025 at the Stonehaven Outdoor Heated Pool for an unforgettable evening of fun, celebration, and empowerment!

This special girls-only event is all about celebrating life as a teen with music, inflatables, fun in the water, and WUKA’s brand-new look.

Triple Olympian Hannah Miley MBE will be there to share swim tips, chat with girls, and offer guidance to parents around periods and sport. Ruby Raut, CEO and founder of WUKA will also be on hand to answer questions about their period products, and we hope to run a relaxed educational session for parents while the girls enjoy the party.

Who is this event for?

This event is for teen girls aged 11–17. It’s a safe, supportive space to have fun, celebrate growing up, and learn about period care.

Do I need to be on my period to attend?

Nope! Whether you're on your period or not, you're welcome. The party is about celebrating being a teen and feeling confident at any time of the month.

Is it free to attend?

Yes! The event is completely free, including entry, swim time, inflatables, and free WUKA period swimwear.

Do I need to bring swimwear?

You can bring your own, but WUKA period swimwear will be available to try or take home if you like.

Will parents/guardians be allowed to stay?

Yes, parents and guardians are welcome. There will be a relaxed educational session for them during the pool party with Hannah Miley MBE and Ruby Raut (CEO of WUKA).

What if I’ve never used period swimwear before?

No problem! WUKA will be there to explain how it works, and you’ll have the chance to ask any questions before trying it.

Is the pool accessible?

Yes, Stonehaven Outdoor Pool is wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific access needs, please let us know in advance.
