About the Speakers

Tom Ensz has been employed in law enforcement for over 24 years, the last 20 of which have been as a Special Agent of the FBI. Prior to that Tom was a City of Overland Park (Kansas) Police Officer and a United States Border Patrol Agent. During his FBI career, his past assignments include the Laredo Resident Agency of the San Antonio Division and the Dallas Division. He is currently assigned to the Kansas City Division, Wichita Resident Agency. His past duties include the investigation of the following types of crimes: Public Corruption, Drug Trafficking, Violent Gangs/Organized Crime, International Terrorism, White Collar Crime, and currently, Cyber Crime. As an FBI Special Agent investigating Cyber Crime, the vast majority of his investigative work focuses on computer and network intrusions.

Dr. Szde Yu is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Wichita State University. He has field experience in cybersecurity and digital investigation. He has published a number of book chapters and journal articles on computer forensics, cyber profiling, cybercrime, and criminal investigation. His works can be found in journals such as Digital Investigation, Computers in Human Behavior, and The Journal of Mixed Methods Research as well as in books such as The Detective's Handbook and Combating Human Trafficking.
