The WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) offers a Level 1 Award in Spirits open to all, which is an introductory course for those interested in the world of spirits in general and those starting a career in the beverage or hospitality industry. The course leads to a certificate recognized worldwide, and a lapel pin.

Course Content:
The course covers the basic principles of spirit production, including raw materials, fermentation, distillation, and post-distillation. It explores the main spirit categories and their key characteristics:

Additionally, it addresses storage, bar tools, glassware, and cocktail creation.
