About this event

The Eastern Span of the Bay Bridge was completed in 2013 and is a self-anchored suspension bridge with an orthotropic deck. The tour will be comprehensive and will include viewing the bridge from Yerba Buena Island, going down into the deck of the bridge, and riding up to the top of the tower (if weather permits). The tour will be led by Bridge Inspector (and ASCE SF Section President), Ed Thometz.
