Writing Your Own Space: 10-Minute Plays for the Holidays
Event Information
About this Event
Join New York playwright and Detroit native Susan Merson to develop your own 10-minute play.
During this virtual workshop on Dec. 14, we will create a space for your story, characters to tell the tale and a real need to get this story in the world. Through prompts and sharing, each writer will create their own world and people it with urgent and alive characters who will surprise you as they reveal their secrets.
Ten-minute plays are important to have in your portfolio, easy to submit and get produced in worldwide venues.
Come to this workshop ready to write a play themed around the holidays! All levels of experience welcome!
Tickets are nonrefundable. A Zoom link will be sent the morning of the event. Registration closes 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14.
