Event description

Whether you’re a seasoned writer, a young writer fresh out of college, or someone who occasionally writes for work, everyone has the ability to improve their writing skills.

We’re excited to have Ken O’Quinn, writing coach and former Associated Press writer, provide practical tips on how you can improve your writing during a lunchtime teleseminar.

By attending the teleseminar, you’ll learn how to:

  • Make the most of an opening paragraph, in a story or an email.

  • Write crisp, clear prose: three places where you can tighten sentences.

  • Find good color: engaging readers with specific details.

  • Rise above the mediocrity: Crafting sentences for variety, rhythm, and emphasis.

  • Use graphic elements to make information more accessible.

Registrants will receive logon information.
