Description

An opportunity to be inspired by hearing some great memoir writing, this workshop is a cathartic and valuable opportunity to tap into the rich vein of life writing. Whether you are a diarist, journal keeper or never written about your experiences before, this workshop introduces the idea of capturing a moment in your life and taking a new viewpoint on it. Bring an object that has sentimental value to you to the workshop.

You will leave with several pieces of writing that may form the basis of something to build on in future workshops.

The cost of workshop to include afternoon tea.

The workshops cater for all levels of writing, whether you are seasoned fiction writers, poets, or those wanting to try their hand at new ways into creative writing in a friendly, supportive and safe environment surrounded by art and nature. Suitable for ages eighteen and over.

There are just 7 places available on each workshop in order to maximise potential of each session. So if you are interested in a workshop do book early to secure your place. Bring pens, A4 writing pad and enthusiasm.

You are welcome to arrive from 12.30pm in order to find the venue & enjoy a private view of the current art exhibition.
