Event description
A creative writing workshop to illuminate you & your writing, led by best-selling author Cat Weatherill.

About this event

A candle creates a special space for writing: intimate, warm and magical. In this immersive workshop, you will join author Cat Weatherill in her four hundred year old cottage. Curtains will be drawn and candles will be lit, then Cat will lead you through a series of writing exercises that will spark your imagination and bring fresh insights into both your work and your world. It's an hour of emotion and ideas, working by yourself in the quiet company of others. Deeply satisfying, fun but focussed, the workshop will especially benefit anyone who is finding it difficult to settle to writing at the moment.

There will be an hour of exercises followed by an opportunity to share thoughts if desired.

You do not need any writing experience - complete beginners are welcome. But if you are currently working on a book, you might like to do the exercises as one of your characters to see what is revealed.

You will need a pen & paper, a quiet space and a real candle you can light.

> The workshop link will be sent by EMAIL some days before the event <
