Ages 8-12

At Taborspace and Mt. Tabor Park

Cost: $295 (additional sibbling discount $245)

Family and friends are invited to join the story circle from 2:00-3:00 on Friday afternoon.

This writer's workshop summer camp is all about creativitiy, writing, active play, and connection with nature. Guaranteed to be educational and fun.

Children will spend time each day in games, observation, and play outside in the beautiful, forested Mt. Tabor park. During the writer's workshop, elements of creative writing will be taught, and students will have the freedom to write whatever they choose.

​This camp is a great fit for students who already love to write and for those who need more practice, support, and/or motivation.

Your child will:
-Enliven the imagination and creativity
-Spend time in active outdoor play at Mt. Tabor Park
-Experience a connection to nature
-Increase awareness of the senses
-Develop writing skills that transfer to all content areas
-Learn the 3 pillars of a story
-Build confidence
-Have fun writing for an immediate audience
-Be exposed to the wisdom of Native American stories
-Hold the attention of listeners
-Trust in their own voice

Cancellation and Refund Policy: 100% refund up to 45 days before the event. 50% refund 30 - 44 days before the event. 30 days and thereafter, no refunds. If this event is held next year, you can apply 100% of what you have paid to next years event. Non-transferable to another event or to another person.
