Event description
Get the key tools for writing a resume that lands you interviews.

About this Event

Resumes are arguably the most important step in the hiring process. It is this single document that gets your foot in the door so you can dazzle the team with your profound interview skills. In all seriousness, it has become more and more difficult to get your foot in the door as online applications are increasingly popular and employers are receiving resumes in mass quantities.

So how do you make your resume stand out? Join us and I will help you create a winning resume that will not only land you that initial interview but will also help prepare you for meeting with the hiring manager.

In this workshop, we'll discuss:

  • How applicant tracking systems work and what it takes for your resume to get through the system to the hiring manager.
  • Strategies for styling your resume in a way that qualifies you for higher level roles.

Molly Weiss, J2T Recruiting

Molly joined a national public accounting firm as a financial statement auditor right out of college. Molly's natural accounting skills, ability to connect with people and easily captivate an audience quickly led her to the recruiting side of accounting and finance. She now splits her time between her love of numbers and her passion for people as J2T’s Business Support Manager.

Today you’ll find Molly either scheduling interviews, prepping candidates, speaking on college campuses or heads down at her desk working on various company-wide initiatives. In her “free-time” Molly enjoys new adventures and world travel. To date, she has been to 24 countries, tackled 6 out of the 7 continents and has had some wild experiences to include: gorilla trekking in Rwanda, a 4-day grueling trek to Machu Picchu, rafting class 4 and 5 rapids on the Nile, skydiving in the Alps, and many more!
