Event description

Description

A backpacking trip for people wanting to grow into a new phase of their life with a blend of hiking,
group process and individual self reflection. Write-Your-Passage is designed to move people
into new ways of being, by creating connections between each other, ourselves and nature.
Not a retreat or just a guided hike, participants will learn hiking skills, be in community,
and be challenged in ways according to everyone's unique journeys.

For inexperienced and experienced hikers alike! Please email if you have any questions about the accessbility of the course (physically, financially, or psychologically)

The first 2 days we will be camping in a front country campground. On the 3rd day we will don our backpacks and venture further into the wilderness. The first days will be focused on building trust within the group, developing skills and connecting with the environment. They will include group activities, solo time, and hiking. By day 5,6 and 7, we will have become close enough as a group and connected with ourselves and will be partaking in self-designed right-of-passage ceremonies. This could come in the form of a more formal cermony with the group, navigating through unmarked terrain, or overnight solos. Each ceremony is up to each individual member of the group's comfort level, personal journey, and creativity.

Write-Your-Passage is a unique opportunity to be immersed in a group experience like no other in one of the most beautiful landscapes on earth. You won't regret taking the time to grow your soul this summer.
