Join a community of individuals who are committed to writing a book in 30 days! Imagine, creating a small 70 to 100 page book that brands your brilliance.

Could you spend just 60-minutes a day writing your book? Are you ready for the challenge?

The fun begins on Thursday, August 1st! Joy Farrington from Lit Diva and I, are here to offer you support and encouragement to get your book done in 30 days!

In memory of Trayvon Martin, I ask you to find a young person to register and mentor them over the next 30 days. As a mentor your role is help your mentee to think through the book concept, hold them accountable to writing each day and offer encouragement and support.

The book is the NEW business card! It does NOT have to be a 300-page book. The rapid pace of technology is causing people to seek out information that will impact their lives in an instant. Your book could just be the answer that people are seeking.

A book will help you to:

- Establish your expertise

- Close more deals

- Build a database

- Get featured in the media

Get started by sharing your book concept or letting us know who you plan to mentor by posting in the “Write Your Book in 30 Days” Facebook Group at You can also start posting messages on social media with the hashtag #writein30

Can you really write a book in 30 days? We are not looking to write a textbook. With daily commitment, its possible to write a 100 page book.

How much time do I have to spend writing this book? We would like you to spend at least 60 minutes each day. It’s great if you can share your progress with others and receive feedback. Some of you may decide to write a great deal of your book over a weekend. It’s up to you but consistency is the key.

Who owns this book? This is your book. Small Business Camp and Lit Diva are just providing a supportive network of people to get the job done.

Will a publisher release my book? No, we are helping you to become self-published by using publishing platform.

Is this just an e-book? With you can also produce physical copies of the book.

How will you help me? Aside from the launch call set for Tuesday, July 30th there will be weekly conference calls beginning on Thursday, August 1st.

Where can I find help if I have any questions? Make sure to join the Write Your Book in 30 Days FB group at We have a community of nearly 2,000 people to support you.

Do I have to write a book to serve as a mentor? No. Your job will be to keep the young person on track to getting their book done in 30 days.

Is there an age-limit on the youth? This is up to you and the child. Why not publish the finger-paintings of your three-year old? I won’t buy it but hey …. you never know (LOL)

How else do you offer support? In addition to the FB group and weekly conference calls, you can post within the FB group that you are seeking a Book Buddy who is also taking the challenge. The two of you can provide regular check-ins and emotional support through the process.

I am excited, how can I get started learning more about the book publishing process? Review the articles located under the “Free Publishing Resources” located at

When does the book need to be done? We would like to have the writing process done by September 1st. With a week or two of editing, you should be ready for our book launch party on Sunday, September 29th.

After the book is done, will you help me sell it? Yes, we plan to create an online listing of the books and host a launch party of published authors on Sunday, September 29th in NYC. If you can’t make it, the event will be broadcasted live online for you to view it. The time and location will announced.
