Event Details

IN-PIN is a collaboration between CELL, Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Indiana Commission for Higher Education, and Indiana Department of Education.

This study visit focuses on a competency based incumbent workforce training partnership between Wright State University and local manufacturers.  SkillsTrac is a comprehensive industrial maintenance training program, designed for our rapidly changing manufacturing industry. This program is geared towards full-time adult incumbent workers working as a maintenance tech or incumbent workers in other fields who would like to work in the maintenance field.

Agenda can be found here.  Highlights include learning about multiple blended learning (on-line and in labs) skill modules tailored to each student and employer, tour the lab facility, and learning how industry plays a role in the career pathways initiative.

Contact Shannon (doodys@uindy.edu) or Alisa (decka@uindy.edu) with any questions.

We hope to see you there!
