Where can I park?

Park in the ample car parking spaces at the Forest of Falkland car park on Falkland Estate and at Pillars of Hercules itself. Pillars can be busy at the weekend, so please leave some time for parking and getting to the meeting point.

Where should I go on arrival?

Our wreath making workshop will take place in the polytunnel in our Strawberry Field. The Strawberry Field is sign-posted, and is located directly over from our cafe building entrance.  On entering the Strawberry Field, you will see the polytunnel directly ahead of you. There is a cosy fire in there

When should I arrive?

The workshop is due to start at noon. If you arrive a little early, there are plenty walks in the adjacent woodlands, you can browse in our shop, or grab a coffee and a relax.  The fire in the cafe and in the polytunnel will be on, so you can keep cozy while you take in the surroundings.

What do I need to bring?

We will provide all the materials (foraged materials from our local area) and the tools and sundries, along with the guidance of our experienced wreath-maker, Charlotte, for you to arrive, experience and enjoy!  We will also supply your refreshments of a tea, coffee or prosecco along with a scone.

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Dress to be cosy. Layers are always good and can be taken off/put on as needed. Fingerless gloves will help keep your hands cosy while you work with your fingers perfecting your wreath.  Since we are a working farm, sturdy, warm footwear is best.

What if I have dietary requirements?

Please email cafe@pillars.co.uk as early as possible with any dietary requirements. Please note a minimum of 24 hours notice ahead of the event is needed to cater for requirements.
